Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Gevent (gevent.net), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, you may not use the service. These terms are a legal agreement between you ("User") and Olexyn Systems LLC ("Gevent", "we"), which provides the service.
The service is provided by Olexyn Systems LLC, a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, United States, whose address is that of its registered agent: doola, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Contact: hola@gevent.net.
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these terms in their entirety. This consent is recorded with the date and time of your acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Gevent is a management platform for event venues that includes, among other features: calendar and event management, sales CRM, guest check-in, day-of-event coordination, client portal, guest RSVP, kitchen panel, security control and reports.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with or without prior notice.
3. Registration and Account
To use Gevent, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering
- Maintain the confidentiality of your access credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you are under 18, you may not create an account. The use of the platform by minors is the sole responsibility of the account holder.
4. Plans, Payments and Cancellation
Plans and their prices are listed on our pricing page and are expressed in US dollars (USD). There are two ways to pay: by card, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor (Stripe); or the full year by bank transfer or cash, which we arrange with you. In Argentina that yearly payment can be made in pesos, for the amount we agree on when arranging it.
A new account gets a free 30-day trial, with no card required. If you have not chosen a paid plan when the trial ends, the account stays on the free plan, with its limits, and nothing is charged. If you add a card during the trial, the first charge is made on the day the trial ends, and we let you know a few days before.
Card payments renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year) and are charged to the same card until you cancel the plan. A year paid by bank transfer or cash does not renew automatically: a few days before it ends we contact you to arrange the next payment, and if it is not renewed, the account moves to the free plan.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from the next renewal: the period you have already paid for does not change. Where the law requires it, applicable taxes are added to the price.
You can cancel a card plan at any time from Settings → Plan → Card and invoices: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep using the plan until that day. Periods that have already started are not refunded, whether paid by card or by hand, unless the applicable law provides otherwise. If we charge you too much or by mistake, we refund the difference.
5. Acceptable Use
By using Gevent, you agree to:
- Not use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Not transmit viruses, malware or malicious code
- Not intentionally overload the service infrastructure
- Not reproduce, duplicate or resell the service without authorization
- Respect the intellectual property rights of Gevent and third parties
6. Guest Data and User Responsibility
You retain all rights to the data you upload to the platform (guest lists, event information, client data, etc.). Gevent does not claim ownership of your content.
By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process, store and display your content exclusively to provide you with the service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
You are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from your guests before uploading their personal data (name, email, dietary restrictions, etc.) to the platform. If you upload data of minors, you guarantee that you have the corresponding parental authorization.
The User indemnifies and holds Gevent harmless from any third-party claims (including guests) arising from the misuse of their personal data within the platform.
7. Uploaded Content and Intellectual Property
Gevent, including its brand, logo, design, source code, documentation and all related materials, are the exclusive property of Gevent and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
For content you upload to the platform (your logo, photos of your venue, files for your events, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and time-limited license to display it within the platform and to the people you share it with. This license ends when the content is deleted or your account is closed.
8. Service Availability
Gevent is provided "as is" and "as available". We strive to maintain high service availability, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage. Availability metrics published on our site are operational goals, not contractual commitments.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months
- We are not responsible for business decisions made based on platform data
10. Termination and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to Gevent if you violate these terms, use the service fraudulently, or if necessary for legal or security reasons.
To delete your account, write to us at hola@gevent.net. We delete it within 5 business days, together with your organization's data (events, guests, photos and settings), and let you know when it is done. If you want a copy of your data, ask for it first in the same email and we send it to you within 10 calendar days. If you pay by card, the plan is cancelled when the account is deleted and you are not charged again.
11. Dispute Resolution
The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of 30 days. If no agreement is reached, any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic.
12. Modifications
We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic.
